Shapeanalysis awarded Scanner Infrastructure contract for SizeUK

SizeUK is due to commence in August 2001 and complete scanning by the end of the year. The project is the largest sizing survey of it's kind in the world.

The aim is to scan 5,000 Men and 5,000 Women and automatically extract over 100 body measurements using the [TC]² Scanner.

Scanning is to take place in eight Fashion Colleges throughout the UK. The Shapeanalysis team lead by Richard Allen is to erect a scanner at each of the 8 sites train operators and process the data at the end of the survey for onward transmission to the data hosting contractor BodyMetrics.
